I found out just before classes were to start that we didn’t have enough people enrolled for the Multi-engine Theory program. That was a little bit expected, so I added College Algebra to finish a requirement for my degree. This change opened up my Saturdays and allowed more flexibility for training and other events. This weekend I was able to fly the family to our hometown for an overnight visit.
Maddie got to spend some quality time with her grandparents while Nicole and I attended my 30th Class Reunion.
After an hour of glass smooth flight on the way home, we were advised by Flight Following of moderate to heavy rain between us and our home airport. We diverted to Litchfield and are currently waiting out the weather.

In the meantime, I’m going to work on some homework.
Update:
The weather cleared enough to get home. The airplane got a good washing half way by a rain shower which was needed. We were lucky to have a crew car available to get Maddie home to do school work. A much longer trip than we anticipated but I stuck with my personal limits and brought everyone home safely. #flysafe
