Got a few things accomplished and had quite the adventure on Leap Day. The weather has been typical Spring time patterns with plenty of nice flying days.
On Saturday I was the lead off pilot for Zeus, a Staffordshire Terrier originally from TX and was going from St Louis to the East Coast near Philadelphia. Weather was perfect and the trip to Indy went great. As I was approaching to land my text messages were going crazy. After parking I learned that the third pilot had an accident while starting his aircraft and was in the hospital. Once the initial shock wore off, we worked together to find Zeus a place to stay overnight and would continue his journey the next day.

My volunteer tutoring at the college is going well. I have my Instrument Checkride scheduled for mid March, and I’ll be training for Commercial soon. I’m very excited to become an instructor. I have major plans after I begin instructing! Stay Tuned!
In other news, I’m a year older and my motorcycle hit a cool milestone.
