It has been a little while since I was able to go to an air show. I’m glad the weather cooperated. You can’t wish for better weather for the performers today. Calm wind, clear blue skies and lots of sunshine.
Today’s performers include the British Red Arrows, US Navy Blue Angels, Aeroshell Team, Skip Stewart, warbirds, and military demonstrations.
There were 3 helicopters that you could ride in and the CAF had 5 or 6 flying warbirds including a B-17!
There was info booths for many aviation industry companies plus the STEM-Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math exhibits. I spoke with nice people from the Civil Air Patrol and Wings of Hope who happily answered my questions. I look forward to volunteering with these organizations soon!
I had a great time and talked with a few people. Tomorrow is homework and an instrument lesson in the afternoon. Ride alongs are welcome! #flysafe
