Planning KCPS KCGI KOLY KCPS N329ME 5000ft on #ForeFlight
I am about to embark on another requirement for the Instrument rating. This route will be flown without outside reference at any altitude above 800ft using view limiting goggles. This will test my ability to maintain course and altitude along the route using both radio and GPS instruments. Other factors include wind corrections, radio communications, setting up and flying different instrument approaches to airports, and keeping situational awareness throughout the flight. We will be at lower altitudes but follow the same rules and procedures as airliners.
