After staring at the radar for 10 minutes we decided there was enough room Between the storm cells to get home. It was a little bit tense as we took off to the west but the air was smooth for the duration of the flight. I kept an eye to the stars as we navigated between the thunderheads. I had a Plan B in mind if I couldn’t maintain visual flight rules. With the help of flight following, we were able to complete the flight safely.
